Requirements:
- Windows 8 ISO (2.45 GB) « Download
- USB Flash Drive (4 GB or above)
Steps to Create Windows 8 Bootable USB/DVD Using ISO Image:
- Download and install Windows 7 USB/DVD from here or from here.
- Plug your USB flash drive into your PC
- Launch Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.exe and hit the Browse button. Select Windows 8 ISO image file and click on the Next button.
- As i will be creating a bootable USB flash drive, so i will choose USB device. If you want to burn a Windows 8 DVD, choose DVD.
- Select your USB drive from the drop-down list and click on Begin copying button.
- Now
leave the rest on the tool. It will format your USB flash drive, mark
it as an active partition and then will copy all files from ISO to your
USB pen drive.
- Once done, reboot your computer and press DEL key to enter your BIOS. Set USB flash drive as the fist bootable device and exit BIOS by saving changes.
Invalid ISO file problem with "Microsoft’s Official Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool"
What will you do if you want an ISO image from your Windows 7 DVD?
1. Simply make a copy using UltraISO program, PowerISO, Daemon Tools ..... etc.,
2. You may download an ISO image from Microsoft websites.
Now,
you made an ISO image from your W7 DVD, and you chose the first way (in
my previous post) to make Bootable USB Drive and install Windows
7/Vista From this USB Drive.
But Oops! You got this ERROR Message in the 1st step when You hit NEXT
Now What's the solution? and What does this message mean?
Don't panic
Follow these exclusive steps:
1. Download "UltraISO PE v9.5.1 full version" from
Mediafire
2.
Make an ISO image from your W7 DVD. It's very easy (Insert your W7 DVD,
Right click, UltraISO\Create CD/DVD image..., Choose iso extension,
Done)
3. After you made an ISO image open it in UltraISO (Open with UltraISO, or double click). It'll open this window:
4. Hit the little right sign
in the left pane. It will open this window:
Look at these settings
*Joliet , *Omit ISO 9660 version number. Change these settings to the
settings in the following picture (check UDF, Uncheck Joliet and Omit
ISO 9660 version number) then HIT ok:
5. Save your previous Windows 7 ISO image (you are already opening it) as a new ISO image with these new settings
look at the following pictures:

Now go back and open "Microsoft’s Official Windows 7 USB/DVD Download
Tool". In step 1 browse to your new Windows 7 ISO image (UDF now not
Joliet
):
7. Hit NEXT and congratulations You are in STEP 2
